USPSA Newbie

I am just getting started in the 3 gun world and this site has become a new addiction. I also just joined the USPSA this morning (3 year with magazine.) How beneficial is it to me to be a member of the USPSA in the 3 gun world? Is there anything else I need to do other than popping rounds down range? I am lucky enough to have my own outdoor range so being a member of the nearest gun club (50 miles away) is not really a realistic idea for me considering I work on Saturdays. I am planning on hitting the midwest 3 gun competitions in Missouri in June. Hope to see some of you guys there. Thanks for your help.

Welcome! Joining USPSA really doesn't do much for you in terms of 3 gun unless you want to go shoot USPSA Multi Gun Nationals whichbis happening this weekend. What you need to sinus sign up for the 3 Gun Nation Amateur Series.

You should see a bunch of us up at the Midwest 3 Gun. Should be a good time! Let us know if you have any questions.
