Good to see them get on the social media bandwagon.

I don't buy into that at all. It's what the sport is so why hide it? I remember being a brand new guy and seeing those with jerseys/raceguns, all it did was make me want to get there some day.

What happened to Tim Allen style men who wanted it bigger/better/faster? Is this really something that is keeping people out of the sport or just at the club level?

I thought the vids were well made and Travis is a great ambassador to use for new shooters.

Oh, I think it's badass.
But just look at how many times people have posted "I've got to practice more before I come out".
The race guns & fast shooting is cool, but they should've showed at least some regular people shooting.
I don't think I saw any....only pros.

It feeds the perception that I had before coming to my first match, It's a pro sport.
Not just an any guy friendly weekend shoot

You have a point. Getting people to show up to the match to begin with can be tough with that kind of thinking.
Having a few regular joes out there in a Budweiser T-shirt and an old leather holster might let people know it can be done by anyone.

I agree with Tony. F$%& that hurt to type!!! Intro videos are better served showing the majority of the shooters that shoot which are D,C & B class shooters.

Tony, do you think they should have the "Super Fun Squad" out there ripping it up in a three minute video with some Wyatt Earp type arguing with the RO's and Jared and Feegee taking videos of each others ass while Burk and I chain smoke the hell outta some cigarettes and taking photos of Jamie riding the wooden hobby horses??!!!

I DO!!!!

I get what you guys are saying. I guess visually it could look a little overwhelming even though the video explained that anyone could do it with minimal equipment all over the country.

Looking back, watching some of the outdoor sports shows there was a commercial with Rob Leatham shooting some steel poppers with an M&P If I remember right.
He shot 7-8 of them, and finished before the first hit the ground. Impressive.

I'm still trying to do that. Still trying..........Still trying.....

No matter what sport I've been involved in, I want to compete against the best in the sport. Some are intimidated doing this, and others are motivated by seeing what they want to achieve.

Long story short, I think the video should have some club shooters in the video, but focused the way it was presented.
