Turn your 10 Round Black Dog Mags into 15 Round mags

First you unscrew the screws and dissasemble the mag. Then you get out your dremmel and remove the tabs in the picture below.

Sand the mag surface smooth so that the follower or spring doesn't hang up.

Reassemble mags from the top down. Let the spring and red button stick out of the bottom of the mag. You then push the red button on the end of the spring into the mag with an allen wrench or something similar in size to red button. Next slide the red base pad back into the mag.

It took me all of 5 minutes to do mine! I take it that the tab is in there for California legal reasons?

Nice! I had never broke down any of my 10 or 15rd mags to see the difference. That's a pretty simple mod! Generally speaking, if you don't live in a mag cap state, the 15rders are the better deal at the same price and being the same external size. There really isn't a need for the 10rders, for most people, IMO.
