I know you guys probably get tired of listening to me ramble on, but all my girlfriends are out getting pedicures while I am looking at hand guards and red dots and dry firing! So you guys get stuck listening to me! Lol.

I just have to share that the shooting community is the most welcoming and most helpful community I have ever encountered. Shooters offer to lend a gun, or ammo, or holsters. Advice is abundant. This forum has embraced me, despite my borderline stupid questions :-)

Yesterday I went on Lena Miculek's facebook and sent a message asking for female advice on shotguns. I figured I would get no response from one of the top female 3 gunners. Surely she is too busy to give advice. But she replied last night late and we ended up chatting. She told me about a ladies only 3 gun in Atlanta (only a few hours from me) in October. Her mother will be teaching a class on long guns with her the 2 days before the match. I must get to this!!! She is going to let me know details.

It is really a neat community to be a part of. Everyone is helpful and takes time for newbies. Kudos to everyone for it.

I agree with everything you said. Great group of folks that will go out of their way to help not only new comers to the sport but will help the very person that might outshoot them at the match .

I agree jennifer s . Jesse T just helped me modify my wifes stoeger just so she could load a little faster. The shooting community is more often than not better than a great hunting dog.. Boomer shooter is the best. I hope I can shoot with some of them soon just to say THANKS.

Pedicures? I love pedicures! The forum embracing you = good thing. Burk embracing you = restraining order

Just sayin'

Jesse's right, Burk can't come within 500ft. of quite a few of us.

Yeah I love the shooting community. I learned more about gun handling skills in my first match then I learned in 8 years 5 years I spent in the army prior to that.

Also, the first time I met Jesse to pick up ammo from him from a group buy, the awesome radiating from him was pretty blinding.
