I magree, that was an excellent diagnosis of what caused the issue.
Doesn't speak so highly of Springfield's parts quality and/ or Quality Control.
I'd hope this was just an unusual collection of parts that were at the margin of being "in spec", that all managed to find their way into 1 pistol.
unfortunate for the purchaser. I wonder what Springfield's response would be , if it was submitted bsck to them for repair ...

Yeah I'm not sure what Springfield would say. Probably that this was "normal". I guess it wouldn't be wrong. It seems most manufactured pistols have their issues. Some just worse than others, I guess. I hope this pistol was just a fluke.
