Have any of you guys used one, my wife brought me one for christmas (good wife I know).
I havent had a lot to do with AR's just because of the laws here and how expencive they are.
But to get to the point, It shoots really well every thing is tight and doesnt rattle if you give it a shake like some of them do and has a great trigger, but no one seems to talk about them, I dont see many people shooting them on youtube.
I know a AR is a AR and im not going to change it cos someone shoots somthing else.
Buts its just bugged me a wee bit that a company that makes such a top quality handgun, doesnt seem to have a lot of talk about its rifles.
Is it just because they havent been making them for long and most people have aliances with other brands?

I haven't shot one but they seem to be good quality products. Seeing that they have a Nodic Components Corvette Comp and a JP Trigger I woudl bet $ that they are using a bunch of Nordic Components parts including their Upper/Lower.

I think some of the reason that they don't get the credit their pistols get is because they are right between the basic off the shelp guns in the $650-850 range and not a high end rifle in the $1800-2500 range. These price level guns don't have a specific niche. The JP trigger is obviously a winner. The 16" barrel doesn't get the 3 gun crowd excited though. The A2 stock doesn't get the young or tactical crowd excited. The handguard looks nice but the trend in 3 gun is to go longer to 15". The tactical crowd likes the cheese grater quad rail stuff.

Basically, I think it lacks a good place in the marketplace IMHO.

They are good rifles, and The last time i talked to an owner of STI, they said that they were going to become more invloved in 3 Gun.

Fair call's there Jesse, that makes a lot of sence mine has just the plain forend and a bell and carlson thumbhole stock (gun laws) Like everyone that owns a AR I dont want it to be someone elses gun, so it will get changed (loophole in gun laws lol)
Im not interested in having a tactical rifle just one thats effciant

I should point out to you guys too that mine cost NZD$3500 cheap for a AR here new or used, bit rough aye
