Anyone have any history with this gun? I heard that the trigger is a hard pull compared to other 1911's. Can a gunsmith remedy this? Is 850.00 a faor price for a gun that has 200 rnds. Thru it. Gun is very clean.
Thanks

I have a Lightweight Champion Operator and I really like mine. The trigger pull is heavier than my Ed Brown 1911 but it's not heavy by any means. I think I paid $850 for mine new, so that much used I would say is a little high.

there is nothing special about a champion operators trigger that is any different or special to be able to say that its particularly heavier than any other springfield (or other stock gun). Its a 1911 first and foremost. You been readin the internet, havent ya? :)
