I had a blast! I decided to find out more about Cowboy Action Shooting after following Crunchy Frog's posts and videos... I just put on some duds and my hat to go watch and learn. Didn't bring any firearms.

Didn't know anyone, but it wasn't long before this guy invited me to shoot his irons at the end of a stage. He was very interested in teaching me some in's and out's of the stages, a really nice fellow.

So after some fun for a while, I asked if he knew who "Crunchy Frog" was on the PSF, I'd like to meet him if he knew who he was. And this fellow says, "Well, that's me!"

What a pleasure... a real gentleman and shooting enthusiast. So, Nice to meet you Sir and thank you for your interest in folks new to the sport!

I will also say that these folks have more fun shooting than any competition group I've been around... couldn't be a more friendly crowd! And they can flat run a lever action, single-action and shotgun.

Take Crunchy Frog up on his invites, you are missing some great fun!

I have to return the compliment and say that Lucky is a deadeye with a wheelgun as well as a hard workin' fellow. He shagged brass most of the day and helped us tear down and put away the steel after the match.

Thanks for coming out; I had a great time hanging out with you today.

The Belton club prides itself on being new-shooter-and-spectator-friendly.
