Snowy Coyote

Called in this big male tonight. He came once and ran off. Dont know if he saw us but I know he couldn't smell us. Switched the call and he came back to investigate. Mistake on his part. I barked to make him stop at 80 yards. He stopped behind a tree so all I could see was his back 2/3rd's. I let one fly and drilled him in the middle of his body. He took off so I went after him. Couldn't find him so I went back to where I shot him and he was about 15 yards from the shot. Decent sized male dog.

Man this would be prime time coyote hunting. They are out looking for food. And they stick out really well in the snow. I will figure out how to upload pics and put one up of the yote I killed and the two bobcats we trapped.
