Smaller is better?

Nice to watch (and some great points), but I always get my radar up when I hear 'Saturday night special' (actually a racist term derived from 'n....rtown Saturday night') from a pundit quoted in any media. Not a huge deal but I gotta kinda watch what the media says after that because it's a buzzword term. I do think most of us shun those cheap, unreliable guns (absolute reliability is THE most important characteristic of any defensive firearm).

There are lots of excellent smaller guns. NAA makes some high quality backup revolvers. The Sig P238 is a wonderful tiny 1911 in .380.

For me the KEY advantage of the smaller guns is that we carry them everywhere. The micro-9s have been a genuine boon to the CCW market.

As has been the LCR/LCP, Smith J-frame centennials, etc.

I also carry a Sig P365XL and a Ruger LCR, I keep a S&W J-frame lady smith in 357mag in my truck at all times
