Sig P226

I just got my new 9mm Sig yesterday and love it. However, I am trying to figure out what polymer rod is that came with it. The only thing I can think of is maybe some kind of cleaning rod.

Figured this out today. It is a grip removal tool for the new e2 grips. Manual is apparently an older manual that does not cover the new grip style.

I got a .40 P226 and it didn't come with one. Maybe it was older?

Anyways, the p226 is an amazing gun. I'm crazy about mine.

Yeah it is on newer models that have a wrap around grip. still has the screw holes for older grips or after market grips. The new ones are more ergonomic and feel amazing in the hand. Totally changes the way the gun feels.
