Shore fishing near norman?

What is the best place to go shore fishing near norman.(no boat.) I have tried a few places but have had no luck. I think normans close to home spots are over fished anyway.

South 9 were the lake gets close to the highway, walk the west shore line about a mile north and you'll find a cove and a submerged road bed. This is a good area for spawning crappie and bass. Invest in a Float tube and you can get to some better water on other lakes, that is if you want to paddle. There is a lady in Yukon and another in Moore that make a really good float tube.
