So tomorrow I am getting to go shoot a match. Due to motherhood and work, it is the first time in months! Hope I don't suck too bad! Just can't wait to have fun shooting though!!

Same here. I haven't shot in months either. My mom was sick for a year and passed, so those weekends were filled, and work on Saturdays seems to always fall on match days.

Now we have a 2 month overhaul at the plant coming up in two weeks that will last for two months, 7 days a week.

We have a never ending desire to eat and pay bills, so priority's come first.

So are you shooting tomorrow too? If so let me know how it goes!! Us "hotties" have to stick together :-)!!!

Very sorry to hear about your mom. It must have been tough. Thoughts and prayers to you.

It was a USPSA local match (really small and laid back). 2 long stages, 2 short stages, and a classifier. I felt really slow, but I was more accurate than some. Waiting for results to be posted!

Didn't get to shoot a match, but I did get to train with a couple guys preparing for this really big 3 gun match in Las Vegas in a few weeks. I cannot yet process all that I learned today! I did learn a 50 yard plate rack is not my strong suit, though.

10th out of 15. I'll take it since I'm still new at this and haven't practiced or shot a match in four or five months. And they had to exclude the stage I did best on because the two squads used different directions. When they sent the email about having to exclude it they said "but it doesn't really matter because Dewey won and Jennifer kicked Tommy's butt" (tommy is the cocky 16 year old that shoots faster than he can manage. He makes fun of me for being slow, but I'm accurate and I beat him today on every stage!).

Had to work 13 hours today, but I agree. The "hotties" do need to stick together. LOL!

Haha. I think they are just cheap barriers the guys found to use. This is a local gun club with not a lot of funding and USPSA is fairly new to the club. They use what they can find.
