Who do you use to ship gun parts? Lifters, bolts, mag tubes, my UPS store
Asked me what was in the box, I said a bolt and she said to a rifle? I said no, to a shotgun. Shee said can't ship it and to take it to little rock UPS distrbution center obtain a FFL or go through a FFL.
You may ask why she thought it was the kind of bolt in a rifle? Because we are in Arkansas. So I am now sending C-Rums a box of bolt cookies .

^ what he said. Next time tell her it's machined parts. I mailed a complete upper through ups 2 weeks ago.

yea you tell her we said at boomershooter that she is batshit crazy. no don't do that but like stated...no serial number and u should be good to go. weird that ive received uppers, bolts, bbl and other stuff through ups and yet they wont ship it.

I've never had a problem shipping gun parts. In fact, I've shipped two pistols back for warranty service with no problems. One went through FedEx and they required me to overnight it. They didn't have a problem with me as an individual shipping it, just required overnight for some reason. I'm not sure about the other pistol but I think I shipped it UPS and had to do second day air. I've shipped various gun parts and never had a problem.

I know I've herd in the past that the problem lies more in the ups store or post net type places. I've always just taken guns and parts to FedEx and I've never had a problem. If your in NWA the fedex in bentonville does a great job.

My business is right next door to a UPS store, he told me just lie to us about whatever it is, UPS does not care... they only want to ship and get money... that is all that matters. I have shipped guns in gun cases and said they were golf clubs... makes no difference at all.
