ive always said people dont understand what will happen if our rights are taken. there will be a civil war. ever heard of the IRA? they didnt use guns. indiscriminate firecrackers as are the ieds of the mid east.
thats why bammy wants it somewhere in the middle between pure 2nd ammend and no 2nd ammend. he doesnt want to wake that sleeping giant.

I just read several responses by national socialist democrat politicians that the NRA stance is turning people against the NRA........I wonder what a realistic and truthful poll of Americans would reflect on major gun control....................I frequent many forums on guns stuff and other interests...Most of the posts seem to favor stopping the government from fooling with controlling guns and get focused on fixing the economy.

According to an NPR guest, who is responsible for security in their state's schools, the answer to gun violence is more and better counseling in schools so they won't be violent when they get out. There is no need for armed guards or staff in any school. (Tell that to the Israelis ) Whether their heads are in the sand or up their arse some people are deliberately obtuse to the point of criminal. If only evolution was allowed to proceed these idiots would soon be extinct.
P.S. Yes, I do listen to NPR. You have to know what the opposition is spouting. Yes, my upholstery has teeth marks in it.

I wouldn't hold my breath......that's the problem with people they can say that but when 10 cops are at your door or just no knock warrant your a$$ what do you do then......... Give up your gun and live on or get beat and shot in front of your wife and kids over a gun....... I know what my views are and my other half knows as well but when a lot of others are faced with that harsh truth I think they will give up the gun....

Exactly the government WILL do whatever they want to.

I have a feeling that me and you are almost on the exact same page. Almost like I am reading my thoughts without typing them out.
I doubt that government will go door to door collecting firearms though. Too risky IMO for them to do that. I know that friends whom are in the armed forces and police officers claim that they will not go along with that plan and neither will their co-workers. I trust about half of that statement because of their views are a lot more conservative than mine. Almost extremist but I respect that.
With all this being said, I will have to applaud our President because he has stimulated the economy very well with gun and ammo ban talk. The shelves at many stores are looking bare because many are buying everything up.In that same breath, there is a couple of facilities that are loaded with inventory because many smart people are not buying the overpriced items.
But, back to topic at hand. I am hoping that at least here in the South many others will stand their grounds and not give up their firearms. I understand some will which will be a good thing because the ones who fall for that ploy I feel that they are not competent to own firearms.

In a way they are just look at ammoseek.com the cheap stuff .48 a round and that's for tracers........m855 2 weeks ago was .37 cent a round.......it is going up and getting hard to get!
