Little Friday nite eye candy:
PTR moved from Connecticut to South Carolina less than a decade ago. I liked their products, and at one time built a full forum just for PTR products.(a mini HKPro) There wasn't enough interest in forums, but I kept on with PTR products. Before the company was sold PTR put out South Carolina Commemorative Rifles, only a thousand 32's to be made.
Here is Serial number 1000. I bought it direct from PTR and they were so nice in sending me the actual receiver stamping, engraved, as a gift. I'll polish the stamping this week, I had forgotten about it in my trailer when we moved.
This rifle is unfired. I bought it and put it in one of my climate controlled vaults. I had them send it without a mag, so it hasn't even had a mag in it.
