From the Match Director:

The dirt work on our new berms that was supposed to start last week was postponed to this week because of the rains. And since there was about seven days of dirt work to be done and we have the equipment on site and the contractor is willing to work through the weekend, we decided that getting the work done should come before shooting the match this weekend.
We hope you understand and we should have better facilities for you guys to enjoy next month.

Guess your not going to get to play with my new pistol :-( and here I was looking forward to BBQ and beer. Oh well glad your getting the range going and look forward to shooting up there soon, you guys a great hosts. Later,

Hell, getting to shoot a new pistol, I'll build a berm, and open up a can or two of BBQ beans, and get a 6 of Miller lite!
Who can pass up a deal like that?
 
I have a new pistol for this one as well. lol... I'm glad to hear that the new berms are going up but I hate missing this match. I'll be looking forward to next month.

Damn you people and your pretty pistols! all I have is an ugly ol' Glock :-( Looks real nice Rusty! you shoot open and I don't have to worry about ya beating me.

Dennis, I'd worry about the BBQ beans they might effect my aim after awhile or your aim LOL and I'm sure you can do better than Miller light how about some MGD as long as it's not 3.2 and hoppy I'm golden. Let's hope January is decent and we can break in the new range with style! I'm think you guys could smoke a pig or something nice for us Okc fella's just look at the new pistols you could shoot. Damn rusty you could at least wipe it down before you took a picture. Your making it look like I sold you a dirty gun! The 1st rule of open is you have to keep that elephant dung looking fancy.

Here's what happened.... I was in the man cave practicing my dual weilding technique and trying to decide if the open gun worked best in my strong hand or my other strong hand when I decided a picture of these durty guns was needed. So obviously there was no time for a wipedown and I didn't have a free hand anyway.
