Safariland ELS Holster and Hanger Advice

I have 2/3rds of a Safariland ELS system purchased and set up for 3 Gun. I could use some advice as to what combo of holster hanger/attachmen to use. The standard ELS fork is too small for the holster and the QLS fork set up doesn't line up with the holes on the belt to use a full complement of 3 screws to attach.

I'd like to mount the holster to the belt with the grip portion slightly above the belt line.

Can anyone who has set one of these up give me some advice on how they did it ?

Thanks.

I had the same problem when I first got my ELS belt.

I wound up buying the BOSS Hanger and Bladetech holster from Ben Stoeger Pro Shop. The hanger is solid, but unfortunately doesn't make use of the holes in the belt.

From what I've heard both in person and from your experience, a Blade Tech holster w/Tek-Lok attachment is the solution to the problem. I like the pistol a bit closer to my body than it would normally ride if I used a drop/offset hanger so I ordered up a holster w/Tek-Lok attachment and see how that works out.

Thanks for the input.

The QLS works great.....it does only fit 2 screws, but mine has never come loose.

I use the small ELS for my holster and have for years without issue other than adapting the fork to my various holsters.
With the Springer Precision holster hangar (he makes the BOSS) you can get a backplate designed for the small ELS fork, easy peasy.
