Not really. With a Msrp if 1300 it SHOULD sell for around 1100. It has the RRA 2 stage which isn't as good as the 3G that comes with a stage. That's about a $150 difference right there.

It appears to be a midlength gas system (vs rifle on the Stag), on a fluted med-con barrel.

Also the rail is not comparable. The Samson that the Stag uses has a much more positive attachment than the RRA appears to. It looks just like the YHM/Nordic style of threading on and using a lock nut to secure it.

Either way, still not a bad combination of parts.

I really think the 3 Gun oriented AR-15 is an ideal all around rifle. You are focusing on light weight, accuracy, and reliability.
