Rock Island 1911 Enhanced

Here is a Rock Island 1911 9mm after our 201 Package. I am sure some of you could shoot it much better than I can. It started with about a 6 pound "creepy" trigger. Now has a trigger that breaks crisply at just under 4 pounds.

Reliability plus Package 201 features

- Hand fit new barrel bushing

- Replace Recoil Spring upgrade

- Replace main spring upgrade

- Replace and hand fit new sear & stone face

- Hand stone proper geometry and polish ignition components

- Polish ramp area

- Polish trigger bearing surfaces

- Throat barrel -

- Tune extractor

- Tune ejector

- Test fire

- Inspect and report any recommendations

Nice work! Your list describes what my gunsmith buddy does in his "1911 tune up package". Costs a few bucks, but it is all well worth doing. I have an old Remington R1, from when they first hit the shelves. He worked it over, and it's a great shooter. My latest, a 9mm Garrison will hit his bench after another 500 rounds or so.
