Where is the best place to currently buy reloading components and equipment. I just got a Hornady lock and load ap and need dies, bullet feed die, and a shell plate for 40. I have the brass ordered. Still need powder, primers, and bullets. Also will be needing plenty of advice on loads. Thanks in advance

For the hard stuff, like dies, Brownells is a sponsor if you click on their ad. I would check local for components first, though. Actually, I would check locally for everything first. But I like to keep the guys in business locally in case there is anything I need yesterday.

Bills usually has dies and primers in stock.

I'll have to look at bills. I had thought about there but don't have a lot of time off. I'm not opposed to buying online but it's hard to find everything without ordering from 10 different places

Not sure where you are located, but Tulsa has a great new reloading store. Jerry's Outdoors I think is the name. Lots of inventory and nice knowledgeable owners. It is located on 51st just west of Mingo.

MidwayUSA for most everything, Heartland for the HazMat stuff. They also have some RCBS and Dillon stuff, along with the MEC and shotshell components.

I have went in twice now since being told about Jerry's. They are very nice and knowledgable. I was actually there earlier today hoping they had got more powder and bullets. Prices seem reasonable too

clint I know you said you have brass ordered but call me I can get you 40 brass cheap and can sell you a few 40/180gr extreme bullets cheap and should be getting some primers in a couple weeks

Powder valley prices look great but they are out of everything I was looking for. How are they are at getting things back in stock?
I'm told they put their new supply's on Facebook before updating the website. It may sell out before it ever hits the website.

I have been using lee dies for the last 4 years and have not had a problem with them at all. I can't comment on other companies dies. I have heard good things about the rcbs and dillon, but I have no experience with them.

I got an RCBS single stage press kit for Christmas and trying to do some research on what rifle dies to buy

hornady, rcbs. lee almost all will fit exept dillon has some that wont have the same thread pitch. and for pistol like wall said you cant beat the lee 4 die set. get carbide if possible

Jackary, since you asked about rifle dies spicifically, I'll say I've been pretty exclusive about using RCBS rifle dies. No scientific reason, just wanted to stay with the same brand as my loader at the time.
Lyman, redding, Hornady, lee are all good and have equal customer service from reading feedback on them for many years.
Pistol, I've gone all carbide. I do use the Lee 4 set in .40.
