I am not an employee (I wish) nor are they a sponsor (should be) but there is a new store in Midwest City called Red Dawn that is waaayyy cool. They carry all of the Maxpedition gear, not just a few pieces, but ALL OF IT! Instead of fondling your keyboard on the internet, go over there and fondle the real stuff.

They have lots of survival gear, food and a good selection of 550 paracord. Just overall good selection of "ATAS" stuff.

Stop by when you are in Midwest City next time. They are on SE15th Street east of Twid's sporting goods. There is a map on their website.

They are pretty cool. Definitely check out the clearance table in the back for some really discounted stuff. They also have some awesome reading material for sale and a partial line of fenix flashlights.

Sounds pretty cool - next time I'm over that way, I may have to stop by. Do they have any knives?

cool place.... thanks for the recommendation. right up the street from me.... the fella working there said they have been there since november, shows how well i pay attention!

I dropped by Saturday afternoon. It's a very cool place. I picked up a copy of the "Red Dawn" movie on DVD while I was there... that movie had a real impact on me when it came out while I was in High School. I remember a group of my friends began camping, shooting and preparing... we called ourselves the JCs aka Junior Commandos. It's was a lot of fun...

Anyway... great store with very helpful staff. I highly recommend it.

I hope to get them as a sponsor of BoomerShooter.com very soon

Did you notice if they had nylon web strapping, buckles, stops, stuff like that? they are much closer to my location! I just moved out this way and have no idea what all is in this area (240 & Sooner) Later,

Kirk

According to Streets & Trips they're exactly one mile from me. Seen it a bunch of times on my way to the Wal-Mart in Del City to buy ammo, didn't know what they were.

I didn't see any strapping or buckles. They had a lot of maxpeditiin gear, food, stoves, water treatment systems, knives, books and general survival gear.

It's worth checking out.
