I'm thinking about picking up one of their 18 inch select barrels (just a hair under $300). Does anyone have any experience with these barrels or any other suggestions in this price range?

Are all the dpms barrels about the same mike or do they have different grades?

Their barrels in general, are well regarded and excellent buys.Ive noticed that midwayusa and brownells have a decent selection of their barrels in stock. they have some heavy barrels, light contours, and some 16" tactical type shorties.

Thanks! I appreciate hearing that from someone who knows what they are talking about instead of guys on ARF saying "you have to get a Krieger" when other barrel will shoot better than I can.
