Fordnut was kind enough to take me to Quick Shot Wed. before last as his guest. This was my first trip and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the pleasure of meeting Ken, a Forum member, CWP instructor and RO at Quick Shot. Rules where simple and reasonable. The other personnel were friendly and ready to help us spend our money. I took some nice smoky cowboy loads for the 686+ to check out the ventilation. The smoke cleared in adequate time after 7 rapid rounds. I would suggest a small increase in airflow but it was not so slow as to be unhealthy or annoying. The temperature was better than other area indoor ranges I've shot in. There is construction continuing but did not interfere with our shooting. It is shaping up to be a very nice Gun Shop.
Although it is too far for me to think about a membership, I would consider it if I were living in N. Chas, Chas, or West Ashley. All in all, I would give it thumbs up.

Steve also took me, great place. Quiet and wasn't that much traffic like other places I'd rather not mention.

Dave,

Great to meet you at the range and I hope to see you again soon. If any board member comes to QS please introduce yourself, you can't miss me, I'm the token "old guy". And don't forget to hit me up for a free Full Auto rental card. Steve was in yesterday and I dumped a mag from the H&K G36 in the lane next to him, function testing after a repair. I can't get enough....

I wasn't there Shane. The M&P is a good shooting weapon. It just may make us shoot better than we really can.

The 9 M&P sure shoots easier than my .40 M&P! I would like to think my shooting had something to do with it having been a SAMI in the Navy.

Three full mags at 25F

What is the annual fee for membership?

I, too, enjoy this place compared to the "others."

I believe Steve said he paid 300, can bring a guest each time as mentioned.
