President Obama to address gun control soon, aides say

White House officials on Wednesday attempted to quell criticism that President Obama dodged a national debate over guns in his State of the Union address and announced that the president would address the issue soon.

Maybe he took some good advise when he neglected to bring GC up during TSOTU.... "never pass up a good chance to shut up".

Gotta watch Congress though. Those slippery SOB's will slip a rider in on a bill... or run crap through commitee when we are not watching. Obama counts on that,I've always figured he's sign whatever comes over his desk too.
