The camera was bought at Best Buy brand new for $200 and the mount I modified was bought at the Sony Contour website. The video stays in the micro SD card until you bring it home to a computer. Then you can trim the beginnings and end thru youtubes editing "enhancements"

I am now trying to find some free video editing software to just make one long video of all the stages and also to try and get a "Video in Video" style edit since I got some 3rd person vids too.

I have the same camera. I've been using the headband mount. I'm going to try the mount you used. The headband mount ends up with a portion of my hat and head in the shot.

yea that is the reason why i wanted to mount it on the bill of the hat. I got the goggle mount due to the fact that it has more surface area for drilling.
