Ponca city USPSA, 5/11/2019, cancelled

Probably couldn’t get to the match if it was still on. The river is 30 some feet over its normal level.
Here is a pic of the intersection where you turn south to the range. Water is about 4’ deep.

Pretty much all of it. Corn crops just got planted.
All three of the area rivers and feeder creeks are out of their banks and Kaw Lake is less than 11 feet from going over the top of the dam. The COE is going to open the gates to max level tomorrow morning to relieve pressure on the dam that will flood all low lying areas in the Ponca City area, along with backing up all of the feeder creeks and rivers that dump into the Arkansas river.
Ranchers are moving livestock all night tonight, Farmers are moving equipment to high ground. Gonna get ugly it appears.
