I'm looking for some sort of glue or epoxy for plastics. I'm wanting to try and glue the back of my matchsaver to my Forend rather then use that little Velcro setup they come with.

Any suggestions?

Maybe some of that Devcon plastic welder. It comes in two separate tubes you mix together. Packaged just like 5 minute epoxy. You can usually find it at an auto parts store or farm and home center.

I don't think it will work, the matchsaver is too dissimilar to the forearm in plastic composition

Once you mess around with pex you lose that consistent flexibility that makes it so. Good for one load devices

Try M3000 I believe it is. Sold in the craft section of Walmart and is good stuff!! I have used it for many things. It is a self leveling adhesive so use it sparingly but it sticks to everything and stays flexible. Good stuff!!!

Excerpts from "Would Gorilla Super Glue work for bonding cured polymer clay to a metal earring backing?"

"JB Weld is an epoxy glue with a strong bond and ability to withstand high heat. It's used with polymer clay by many clayers, and is rated for metals, PVC plastics, etc.
All epoxies harden stiff though so too much stress after curing could crack or weaken them."

"Often E6000 glue is used when attaching polymer clay to metal because it's thick and strong (too much heat can soften it a bit though). It also retains some flexibility rather than being really stiff."

"Cyanoacrylate glues (instant glues like Super Glue, Krazy Glue, Gorilla's version of CA glue, etc) can work well when attaching polymer clay to other surfaces--or not. CA glues are best for non-porous materials, where the joins will be exactly matching, and where there will be pulling-apart stress after curing rather than from-the-side stress. "
Some are gap-filling, others aren't."
