I have original USGI M261 .22LR conversion unit for M-16 or AR-15 rifle. Operates in semi-auto only. This is a drop in unit replacing your original bolt carrier assy and requires no modification to your rifle. It comes with three 10 round magazine insert which is loaded into a standard 20 or 30 round magazine. I used it in my first RRA Car-15 and it ran with no issues. Keep it lubed and clean and it is a great way to drop out your bolt drop this in and your Competition AR-15 in .223 is now a .22lr same platform same controls but .22lr.
