Many moons ago I picked up a kimber custom. I was fairly new to the way of the gun and bit down hard on the 1911 hook line and sinker. Something came up and I had to sale it.. I know.. I know.. some time late I picked up another kimber, this time the TLE2 because I just had to have another 1911. something else came up and had to sale it.. I know.. I know, what I can say I was still young. I guess your allowed a few mistakes. I have kicked myself many many times over letting go of the gun of guns the 1911.
Well, I am much older, wiser and more financially sound these days. I couldn't fight the hunger any longer, I just had to get the GOAT platform back in my life. I just got a sweet deal on a Sig RCS and must say, this thing blows away the kims I have had in the past "YMMV". This one is never leaving me.. EVER!!
the custom shop treatment on this thing is so sweet. Now im just trying to find that "just right" piece of leather to wrap her in and im good to go. Is it just me or does a nice 1911 deserve to be wrapped in anything other than leather? at any rate, I am stoked about this baby. now I just have to name her.
