Massive front moved through this area about 7pm. I don't know the wind speeds, but it knocked down power lines leaving Perry, Stillwater, Red Rock, Ponca, Stillwater, and Tonkawa without power. It may last a couple of days.
My Gen was full of fuel, but thats only 6 hrs. I have a 8500 watt electric start. That will run out at 3am.
No gas stations are operating. My wife got on something she does, and found out the only fuel is at Blackwell, or Newkirk. They have huge lines of vehicles at each station.

Thank God I built a pump that I can put in a fuel tank, to get fuel from a vehicle. Used an automobile fuel pump, with a 3/8" hose, and a check valve at the suction side, to make it work. Filled three gas cans from the Truck, and have two other vehicles to get fuel from.

I was at the range when it came through. Dead calm one minute, and crazy at the next. The Conex building in the pic went over a 20' berm, and landed 200 yds into a wheat field. The next pic is of the target shed that blew away. Ponca has no water, no electric, nothing.

26' actually.

Haven't heard of any injuries, other than my own. I got a puncture wound on the arm, and a 6" cut on my leg from the target shed. Neither serious, just minor.
Looks like a work day this weekend.

For those of you that have been there, in the first pic, that is a conveyor belt that USED to be on the 100 yd range. It weighs a thousand pounds or so.

Thanks for the offer!
We are pretty self sufficient. The gen is taking care of the power, and I have a pump to get fuel for the gen from the vehicles. From what my wife is seeing on facebook, all of the gas stations in Blackwell, and Newkirk are out of fuel or close to it.
We spent 11 days in an ice storm a couple of years ago without power, and I swore it would never happen to me again.
Just got a fresh Ice tea from the fridge, and have some ham and beans simmering on the stove. Eat a little and hit the sack.

If you and momma need a place to stay I'm only 1 1/2 hours down the highway. I hit two rooms sitting vacant now that the kids went off to college. Plus the fridge is full of beer too. Seriously come on down.

Glad everybody is ok.
Doing some bigtime cleanup myself. Damage to the house was small thank god.I didnt need another 16K worth of work like the hail storm did the last go round.
This time will be break out the chain saw and pile it up for haul off.

I wish I had a generator! No power this morning. Thankfully the pool was over full from all the rain. I just went fatty dipping' then cleaned out 20 lbs of leaves and sticks.

I caught that about the kids being away to college, but wasn't sure how to respond so sometimes silence is "golden" ::)

We got our power back last night. So like Jesse, spent the evening getting leaves out of the pool. I went through a whole 6 pack watching that Polaris clean up all of the leaves.
