You can listen to the Police and Emergency feeds in your area on this website. Pretty cool.

I found it tonight when I heard a bunch of sirens in my area which is very very rare.

I think these are also broadcast by private citizens who own scanners...and as such...not all channels are always available

You may have trouble listening to channels that have full digital encryption (i believe SCHP is...i know Richland County SD is...and i think Forest Acres PD is)
