Who's going, and what are you shooting?

Personally, its the Savage Smokeless ML-II SS for me. 250 grain Hornady SST. The chrono has it running at 2360 fps. Took two does with it at 175, and 190 yards last year. The recoil is a beast. LOL..

I don't have a muzzle loader so I'm bow hunting through to rifle season, good luck out there

Went out tonight with the xbow, and had a doe come into the food plot with twin button bucks. They ate for awhile and left, then an almost shooter 8 point came in and started feeding. He is outside his ears, but not enough mass.
A single doe came in while the 8 point was there, and he started chasing her around. Rut is only a week or so off!

Good luck on your hunt.

Nothing big yet. Seeing 8-10 every morning and evening though.
I love MZ season. There are not as many people in the woods, and the tail end of it in Oklahoma coincides with the start of the rut.

I don't know Dennis. I was down at Broken Bow at Beavers Bend state park last week and saw 3-4 bucks chasing does pretty damn hard. Rut may not be in full swing but I think it starting early this year.

Yeah, they are chasing around here too, but they haven't gone totally stupid yet, and the does aren't ready. Around here anyway.
