I've been putting in for it since the controlled hunts started including antelope.
There is a lot of land out there that is public hunting. Its the Rita Blanca National Grasslands. I know several folks that have drawn and got their antelope on public grounds.
I also know of a couple of guys that drew out and took a rick of split oak firewood out there after posting on craigs list they would trade wood for hunting rights.
There isn't a tree out there, so they got a lot of responses.
The deal with that trade is that they would have to take you out and show the properties with antelope on them before the trade. Might take getting there a day or two in advance to get the scouting done.
