OKC 3Gun 4/22/17

OK boys & girls we're back, It's 3Gun weekend at OKCGC.
Plan for 5 stages with 75/75/75 round counts give or take with at least 4 slugs.
Bring more, you can always take it home.

OKC Outlaw 3Gun rules & divisions as usual.
We are not a 3GN club so don't count on a classifier or 3GN ruleset.

Sign in starts at 9:00 & shooting will begin as quickly as as we can get everyone checked in/registered.
cost is $15 for OKCGC members or $20 for non-members.

Setup will be Friday afternoon & help is much appreciated & needed.
Last match, there were 2 people that came out to help.
These matches don't set themselves up & we need more volunteers.

One of those two people won't be there to setup this month either. So get out and learn how if you value having a local match please.

Since not many of you, if any, went to the Multi-Gun Nationals, we decided to bring one or two of the stages back for you all to shoot. They were really fun and I promise you will like em..

That's all subjective..

We didn't get to shoot long range. 317 was all we got, but the 20mph swirling crosswinds made it, well, exciting..

I hope to be there Saturday, but I know I won't be there for set up this time. I have a work sponsored sporting clays match on Friday. I need to get out and shoot, other than my daily carry, I haven't touched a gun since march 4th other than to move them from one house to another.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather. Looks pretty wet on Friday and downright cold and messy on Saturday.. Plans are still to go forward but keep an eye out for any announcements..

It's the 1-2" of rain on Friday and the 45 degree high with 30mph north winds on Saturday that are not helping..

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Regardless of Saturday, You can't set stages in the middle of a thunder/hail storm.

Well, mother nature has decided we need to wait another week. We're postponing until next weekend & rolling it into the shotgun match. I'll make a new match announcement with details.
