Well folks were up and running. We are now offering metallic reloading classes at H&H. The cost is $50 and that includes all materials and instruction. Call us at 947-3888 ext 138 for more details. The classes can be done in groups or one on one. We work around your schedule.

Can you give the basics of everything that will be covered? Rifle/pistol calipers, working up loads...I'm really interested in this but I know nothing about reloading other than 12 gauge in a MEC.

Zeke, I think this is a great idea. I know nothing about reloading, but definately want to learn. How long would a session last time wise?

Just posted looking for something like that the other day. Wish someplace in Tulsa did this, I may have to make a road trip someday.

I'm sure this will be a good class. Reloading is a almost a sport in itself. :D

Since the instructor has to be NRA Certified, you will be getting good info. Lots of good reloaders on this forum to help with the questions you might have after the class.

Thanks for the interest guys. Many of the classes are one on one and last as long as they need to, so we are comfortable that you are comfortable. They class covers use of all the basic tools, the steps taken when properly setting up and following published load data to creat your own ammo. Rifle and pistol instructions are available. It is a great opportunity to get the questions answered and open your mind to how much you can save in ammo costs as well as tailoring your ammo to your specific needs.

The guy I just talked to said Don will be doing the classes at Ext 237... I have been reloading for many years and I am looking for a class on the Dillon's presses. I think this is the direction I am going in the next few months.

IT'S ACTUALLY EXT 137, but if you call the range and follow the menu options to reloading you can get ahold of don, he works mon-wed. There are several of us that are going to be doing classes, currently don is handling the course load though.

Thanks Zeke, Are you going any classes dealing with the progressive reloaders?

Once he or we establish your level of knowledge we can tailor the class to what you need. We have a dillon 550 set up in the classroom that gets used pretty regularly.
