I already have one but I need another for the Palmetto lower I'm building for my nephews. I will call Monday to see what kind of price break we can get at different quantities.

What barrel issues? I get some stray flyers every once in a while which I can't attribute to either ammo, or magazine, or the gun, or the shooter, but otherwise I haven't had any issues...care to enlighten us? I think they said they were changing something with the feedramp perhaps to try to combat flyers a few months back? These aren't mean to be a "match" gun, or match accuracy, but they are meant to run like a raped ape, which they do quite well

. I put a few hundred more rounds through mine again this afternoon shooting some exploding targets plus getting out some girls that had never really shot before. Going on 2000++++ rounds without cleaning on federal bulk packs and going strong :blink:

I have an 18" NC22 upper. I got one of the first ones off the assembly line ~4months back. The Nordic guys are GTG. I ran into them by chance in Vegas last week at a buffet in a casino B). My guess is, that they'd be looking at a price of $425ish based on what I've seen before on 'group buys' or coupon codes, etc.

They told me they were going to start building the barrels themselves to ensure that they were match quality. Quality control is always easier when it's internal.

I've been waiting to see the 18" back on their site so I can order one. I was going to see if they would still give me the 10% off from BE last year since they were out of stock way before the end of the year. I would definately be interested.

The cause of the flyers are the back of the chamber. It is very sharp in this area and can shave the side of the incoming bullet occasionally.

Nordic said they would definately honor the 10% discount code and give us a better price if we could get 10 uppers on order. They are moving barrel production in house so these might be a few weeks out.

At this point assume that the uppers are the $450 that the discont code gets you less some savings on shipping costs. Feel free to PM me for more details. I do not want to post specifics on pricing on the thread as per their request.

Reason being...an 18" with a Rolling Thunder is about as long/heavy as a 18" with a A2 FH.
