Took a 20 year old M-16A2 out today for weapon zero and qualification. We just zero'd the unit today, about 70 people. Qualify tomorrow, plus I'm running the .50 cal range and we have an M-203 and M-249 range too. They re-did the roster so I have a new weapon to zero. Usually no more than the sets of three rounds for me. Third group of three was as small as a dime at 25 meters, almost one big hole. I shot 39 out of 40 last time, going for 40 out of 40 tomorrow. I always enjoy range weekend.
