Thanks for letting me in. I'm old enough to cling to guns made of steel, even though I have a few plastiguns in my collection. I still consider them to be novelties, though. Mostly I carry 1911's or revolvers... sometimes both. I fired my first shot at the age of five under my dad's firm tutelage. Then I fell in love with handguns. Now, in my seventies, I still love them. I'm not adding many new guns to my safes, anymore because the ones I have don't wear out too easily. I'm down to just eight 1911's at the moment. I have some other good guns, too: Sigs, CZ's, Smiths and Rugers.
