i just paid Jason at Upstate Armory Group for my NEW Sparrow 22 can.

when i send in the papers im thinking about sending in a form 1 to make an 8 inch or so bigger copy of the Sparrow in 9mm for the machine gun.

did you know if you pin and weld a suppressor on a short bbl and its 16 inches there is only one tax?

If the can is permanently attached to the (less than 16 inch barrel) it is considered much the same as an integral suppressor, no?

If you permanently attach the can to a short barrel rifle, it is not considered a SBR. No different than if you have a 14" barrel on a AR and weld on a 2 inch flash suppressor. It is not considered a NFA weapon.

If you weld on sound suppressor on a short barrel, you still have to pay the tax on the suppressor but not on the weapon. The downside to that is that you cannot move the suppressor from one weapon to another.
