Hello everyone my name is Andy Lewis and I am the owner operator of Rangemaster Rowdy targets. Several of us here are just beginning to investigate getting in to this sport. We have been developing targets for almost two years now and I believe we have a very high quality line, all made right here in OKC. For Law enforcement training or sport competition we have, or can make you the target you have in mind. Please check us out at www.rangemasterrowdy.com

Looking forward to it.

Andy

Welcome Andy and thanks for the Sponsorship - I know the give away packages that Craig and I got together will really make some members happy.

Stick around - there are plenty of people here to give you great advice - just never take any from me LOL

Welcome aboard Andy! We are very excited about having you guys as a forum sponsor. We hope to see more than just your targets (you and Craig) at the matches with us. Thanks again for your support!

I split this into its own welcome thread.

I bought some of their knock-down targets just the other day. Craig (Toolbox) was as helpful as could be. They have an employee named Robert (if I recall correctly) who was friendly, informative, and even took the time to give me a tour of the production area and all of the targets available. The steel is top of the line for a great price. I'll be buying more for sure. Maybe I'll win some of it too!

Who is this Andy guy? Should i know him from somewhere? the name sounds familiar but i just cant place the face. ROTFLMAO!!!

You got the same ones I got Tay - the 5 1/2"?!?!

What do you think? Mine are perfect!!!

Yes sir. I got a set of five of them. I'd eventually like to get three or four of the 6.5'' targets and a stationary mini ISPC (or whatever acronym) targets. The ones shaped like a boxy little man. Down the road I'll be needing a dueling plate rack too. Just so many goodies they offer that I need. It was like a steel candy store walking through their warehouse.

I'm in the market for some targets. I need to check you guys out. Is their a website with the pricing on it? Where in OKC are you guys located?

My signature give you all my contact and web info.
I also extend a personal invite to all, come by, look at our display cause we like walkin's and welcome them. Make it around 11:00 to 11:30 and we'll do lunch.

Just got back from shooting my targets. I finally remembered to take a picture. Not that it is at all exciting to see a picture of a target set up, but here it is. My fastest time today was 6.42 seconds and I was generally getting around 8 seconds for all five targets. I need practice, but that is an improvement for me. I did shoot one of these with federal fmj .223 at 110 yards and it left a pencil tip sized dimple in the steel. They are extremely fun when you have a private range or if you have a public range to yourself. But the other day I was at the range while strangers were there and I felt bad having to call cold range constantly in order to go put my targets back on their pedestals. The rope-pull reset feature on some of rangemaster rowdy's plate racks will be one of my next steel target purchases for sure.

P.S. I finally got my girlfriend to shoot something bigger than a .22 pistol. She shot my G35 with a 9mm conversion barrel. The kick wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. These steel targets really make her more willing to come out shooting with me. Winner all the way for RMR targets.

I should have gotten some pics of that. The first pic would have been the gun pointed downrange with her eyes closed and her face turned to the side. Later pics would have shown improvement. She is limpwristing and I've taught her everything I know  about grip, stance, sight placement, trigger pull, etc. It got better, but the gun still hiccups now and then when in her hands.
