Been looking for a new 1911 forum and found this one. Glad to be hear. I've been reading several pages of new posts, and so glad to now be a member. 1911 pistols rock, but I never owned one until I was in my late 40's. I was never a Colt fan, and that was pretty much all that was available back in the 70's if you wanted a somewhat affordable 1911. So many choices today. If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to splurge and buy me the top of the line Ed Brown(Pipe Dream).
