What a cool concept for possibly the best concealed carry concept to date. Imagine just how much closer your firearm would be to your body if it had a little curve to it.

Apparently, that?s what Taurus is going after with this patent that they have filed.

Titled ?Body Contoured Handgun?, the patent was filed on January 11th 2013 and seemingly approved on June 17th 2014.. A reader over at TTAG happened upon the patent and shared the information. Good eye and a good catch.

Once you get into the file a little bit, you?ll realize how futuristic this concept looks.

The overall shape reminds me of the Kimber Pepper Blaster http://www.pepperblaster.com/

The curves of the gun look ... pointless. I dress around my guns and they conceal appropriately and are comfortable for carry. I don't see any practical function that this new gun from Taurus performs. It looks like a "solution" to something that someone in an office dreamed up on paper.

I'm curious to hear from the Ladies regarding curve hugging Concealed carry.
Guys tend to dress around their firearm. We don't worry about 'Fashion' or conceal with revealing apparel. The other thing is the fact that there are drawings for a pistol and a revolver form in those plans. Thought it was interesting.

P.S. This was an article from ConcealedNation.Org. I forgot to give credit where credit was due.

i was gonna say yeah ok so lets see the revolver but then i saw it.

will it shoot straight?
