Ha! I know what you mean. My schedule fell just right, so with the holiday last week, I've got 11 days off with only using 3 days vacation.

I always feel the same way. A couple years ago I wiped out big down doing down hill mountain biking and broke my collar bone. Was off work on disability for 2 months while I had a plate put in and recovered. After being on paid leave for 2 months it was almost impossible to go back to work. I can't wait for retirement.

I am greatful to get paid vacation. And to have a job! Its just hard to get by on one pitiful income.
