Had these twin fawns, and mom come to the yard today. They were coming to the pool to drink, but my Brittany, Gunner, came to the window and barked, so they didn't make it all the way. I'll bet they come back after dark.
All of the local water sources have dried up with the drought, so all animals are looking for water. Another visitor we don't want is copperheads. The snakes tend to come into the yard during droughts, as the insects, rodents, etc, look for water sources, and we water the hell out of our yard. I'm going to spray for bugs this weekend in hopes of keeping the "no-shouldered" critters out.
