This camera is in mint condition. Very limited use as a backup, only 9985 actuations and very well maintained. Still one of the best DSLR's out there. The Nikon D300 12.3 MP DSLR camera saves photos in several different formats to meet the needs of photographers in terms of both quality and size. This black Nikon camera body can be set to save in JPEG, TIFF, and RAW formats. While the JPEG itself is an extremely common format, the TIFF format is a larger, more detailed processed image format that tends towards larger file sizes with less compression. A RAW image taken by this Nikon camera body requires photographers to process the image themselves using separate digital photo processing software. Setting functions on this 12.3 MP DSLR camera allow adjustments to be made to image color and exposure to give the user heavy control over the outcome of their photos. Controls for the white balance and shutter speeds also contribute to the versatility and ease of use for the Nikon D300. Digital storage options for the user's photos are handled through the use of two types of flash memory cards, CompactFlash and MicroDrive, which allow a user to store multiple cards and swap them out easily.
