Hello Shooters: I just wanted to let everyone know that (KSA Combatives) will be hosting Matt Mink at the Old Fort Gun Club July 7th and 8th. This course per Matt Mink, will be addressing all major aspects of the USPSA game as well as some of the nuances most folks don't even think about. This will be a 2 day course with lunch (sandwiches and water) included both days. The cost for this course will be $395.00 and will require a minimum of 1000 rds. Day 1 will begin with fundamentals of marksmanship and basic USPSA techniques; we will end day 1 with classifiers, speed shoots and drills. Day 2 will be entirley devoted to shooting field courses. There will be heavy emphasis on footwork, movement and diagnosing each individual shooter as to where they may be loosing time on the course. Due to the time of year we will be taking frequent water breaks where Matt and Billy will be discussing shooting / training theory, including "Hit Factor" and how it applies to the game.

What's up Bid Daddy! Yep good question; we absolutly take no more than 16 shooters. I would prefere 14 or less but i don't want to turn anyone away either. The way this will run is we will take the total # of shooters break them into 2 squads and work shooting stations. Less shooters per station equal more reps per shooter, and I want to keep you guys shooting!

2. This should be a fantastic class. I spoke with some guys who took one of Matts classes...they said it was just the thing to push their game to the next level.

3. Remember, Billy is also teaching a comprehensive handgun class THIS weekend at Old Fort (Jun 9th and 10th)
I believe he has a spot or two still open.

I took Billy's rifle class when Matt was a student... I digged him for a preview... the class will be top notched..
 
Well here we go i'm a little emparrased to say this but, I had a buddy of mine help me do my first post so I wouldn't screw it up! there I told the truth i'm a knuckle dragger... Anyhoo; let it be known for the record that I have no dreams of grandure here; Matt is the tallent that were (who ever we are)going to be lucky enough to shoot and train under for two days. There is just so much tallent in the Arklahoma area and he is just one look at some southern greatness. I see it this way he's a professional shooter, I teach for a living. The students can learn from him... and I will learn from the students. There are so many talented shooters on this forum that may come to this class how could I not. Just saying....Be blessed my friends!
 
Its rare to have an opportunity to take class of this caliber.
Matt Mink is argueably the #3 Production shooter in the world.
3rd at the World Shoot (solidifying the US Team Gold medal)
4th at USPSA Nationals
1st at the US IPSC Championship
1st at 2012 Double Tap, and the 2012 Mississippi Classic...and much much more, He's truly a world class shooter and competitor.

Billy is a Master class shooter and an even better teacher. I think their styles of teaching will compliment each other well.
Like I said, it should be a fantastic class.
