Interesting concept. I wonder what that buffer tube sounds like being closer to your ear like that.

i commented he should use a pistol buffer tube and dont cut the original grip. that would almost make a butt stock.

Right and if someone was going to make a real conversion kit they could make a butt stock that attached to the pistol grip mount too. Not to mention devise a more elegant triggering system without saw blades.

I think the glorious lack of sh!ts given about finesse is part of his 'brand'.
Personally, he got more of a thumbs up from me by opening a beer with his Mosin at the end of it, than the bullpup AR.
