I started competing with the cheapest gear I could find, including an uncle mikes double mag pouch on my belt and Faubus paddle holster and dual mag pouches. I've replaced the holster and am looking for mag pouch recommendations. I noticed at a USPSA match last month with a lot of steel that the paddle really starts to hurt after a day of bending down to reset steel. I do also shoot IDPA occasionally, so being IDPA legal would be nice as well.

I bought some of this guy's stuff and it seems to be a very good value. They are IDPA compliant.

tactical kydex <[email protected]> Think the guy's name is Mitchell Pearce.

Believe Brandon DuBois, the forum moderator, first put me on to him. I would certainly buy from him again.

Here is a picture of a double mag pouch that guy made for me a long time ago. Pretty good stuff but I moved up to KyTac single pouches and never looked back

I only purchased the singles and will never again purchase a double mag pouch from any manufacturer. I like being able to adjust the distance between pouches. I bought single black versions of what Brandon has pictured for a couple of different guns. And mine were about $10 each as well, so the price is tough to beat.
