OK, did all the basics, changed oil, drained and refilled gas, new spark plug, cleaned air filter, and my mower still is running very slow, like its not getting enough fuel.

I need a shop or a person that can get my mower back to running correctly.

If it matters, its a self propelled troybilt push mower with a B&S motor.

Couple of things you might check...These sound dumb, but, would suprise you how often this happens.

1) Check the throttlt cable. Make sure that when you open the throttle control open, that the carb opens up all the way...

2) Make sure the muffler has not collapsed inside.

3) Check to see if you have a gas filter inside the fuel tank...It might need changed, if there is one...Most 2 cycle motors have the gas tank filter, but, some 4 strokes have them...

Hope maybe one of these works for you...

my yard is half dirt. you would not believe the difference cleaning an air filter makes.

also you have to put STABILISER in the gas now. didnt know if you knew that.

never mind. after reading again i see new air filter.
